Less than 3 Weeks to go...
Well, for those of you that know me, you'll know that we are expecting a baby girl on April 16th. This was a 3-minute shoot with my wife and son and we loved the way this shot came out.
Baby Time
A few days ago, I had the pleasure of shooting a mother-daughter portrait session. I decided to mimic a shot I had seen somewhere, once upon a time and really loved the way it turned out. I love the softness of the baby perfectly framed by the circle and then the mix of elements - the soft baby skin with the hardness of the steel and wood. Sounds a little contrived, but it's true. The second shot is another favorite of mine from the session.

Eatin' Fire
Things have been busy and the season is really just beginning. We (being Stephen Andrews Studios) photographed a Bat Mitzvah at GLO on Long Island last weekend. VERY fun party. A guilty pleasure of mine nowadays is listening to pop-music - some of it is so much better than when i was 13. Anyway, one of the coolest shots I got was of this fire eater. Check two of my favorites out:

Well, it's finally happening.
Things are getting to be pretty exciting around here to be sure. Slowly, but surely the studio is becoming what we want it to be. Frames on the walls and sample albums on the coffee tables, and most importantly, clients coming in. Below are some favorites from a recent wedding we did in Manhattan. Yes, there was a snowstorm, but that seems to be par for the course with Winter weddings in Manhattan (at least for us).
